3 How many sessions will I need?
Most clients achieve optimal results after 10–12 treatments performed at 4-week intervals. This
schedule follows the natural hair growth cycle, allowing the laser to effectively target hair follicles
during their most active growth phase.
Maintenance treatments are usually recommended once a year to maintain long-term results.
The number of treatments required may vary depending on:
Hair thickness and colour
Size of the treatment area
Hormonal factors
Your individual response to treatment
Laser hair removal works best on dark hair such as black or dark brown. The laser is not effective on
very light, grey or red hair.
4 Are the results permanent?
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction of approximately 90–99% after completing a
full course of treatments.
Some dormant hair follicles may become active over time, for example due to hormonal changes.
However, any regrowth is usually finer, lighter and much less dense than before.
For this reason, laser hair removal should be considered a long-term hair reduction method, and
occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended.
5 Is the treatment painful?
Our advanced cooling technology makes the treatment very comfortable. Most clients describe the
sensation as a mild warming feeling or a light snap similar to a rubber band.
The treatment is generally painless.
During the procedure we use:
An integrated cooling system to protect the skin
Cold air cooling to increase comfort
Fast treatment techniques to minimise discomfort
With each session, the treatment usually becomes more comfortable as hair becomes thinner and less dense.
6 Can I have the treatment if I have darker skin?
Yes. Our modern laser systems are designed to safely treat all skin types, including darker skin tones.
We use carefully selected wavelengths and settings that precisely target hair follicles without
damaging the skin’s natural pigment.
Safety measures include:
- A skin test during consultation
- Customised settings tailored to your skin type
- Treatments performed by trained specialists
- Gradual adjustment of energy levels when needed
7 What should I do before my appointment?
Before your appointment:
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 4 weeks prior
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your session
- Do NOT wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams for 4 weeks beforehand
- Arrive with clean skin, free of lotions, perfumes, or makeup in the treatment area
Day of treatment:
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Avoid caffeine if you're sensitive
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin
8 What should I expect after treatment?
With each session, hair growth becomes slower, finer and less dense.
Common temporary reactions:
Slight redness (usually disappears within a few hours)
Mild swelling around hair follicles
Temporary skin sensitivity
Rare side effects:
Blistering (very rare)
Temporary pigmentation changes
Folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles)
Our specialists are fully trained to minimise risks and will discuss all safety information during your
consultation.
9 Are there any side effects?
Side effects are typically mild and temporary when treatments are performed correctly by experienced practitioners.
Common temporary effects:
- Mild redness (resolves within hours)
- Slight swelling around follicles
- Temporary sensitivity
Rare side effects (with proper protocol):
- Blistering (extremely rare)
- Pigment changes (usually temporary)
- Folliculitis (treatable with aftercare)
Our practitioners are trained to minimize risks and will discuss all potential side effects during consultation.

treatment is appropriate. Hormonal changes during adolescence may affect results, therefore each
case is assessed individually.
There is no upper age limit. As long as you are in good health, laser hair removal can be effective at
any age.
12 Can I have laser if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
As a precaution, laser treatments are not performed during pregnancy. Although there is no
evidence of harm, the safety of the baby is our priority.
